Emerald Sun Energy

I have a hot Tub Spa and an older A/C system/Heat Pump. My electric bills were as far as I was concerned too high. I have Solar Electricity at my other home in South Eastern Massachusetts and I pay nothing to National Grid from April through December. because of that I was going with Tesler, the new owners of Solar City, where there was so much confusion, I decided to go with Emerald Sun Energy. For the month of February my electric bill with Duke Energy was $160.00 and we have not even hit the hottest time of the year. In March my electric bill was $8.32. I am so happy I went with Anthony. He is quite knowledgeable and the price was fantastic for out Solar System. I would definitely recommend Anthony and Emerald Sun Energy when selecting a solar company for your home. Oh and his installation crew were professional and fantastic.

We had Emerald Sun install solar panels on our home. They haven’t been working for 3 months now. Our electric bill is over $400 a month, plus we have to continue paying for the panels that don’t work. They keep sending a third party contractor that can’t find the issue. Our concerns and complaints fall on deaf ears. No one returns our calls. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Anthony, the owner of this company came to our house and he kept ensuring us that he was not a salesman which basically was him telling us from the start if anything happens don’t blame me. Since he installed our panels, we have had One problem after another, he sent out a specialist who told us that it was actually put on the wrong roof, but he would not want to disassemble it because it would be too much With all the holes already drilled in the roof. Our system was always functioning subpar, and when it finally does function, it does not provide us the energy we need. Anthony continually makes excuses. We have had problems with our air-conditioning unit leaking in one Bedrooms he found a contractor that’s very far away. That never wanted to come out here as of last night The ceiling is dripping through, which is coming from the upstairs air conditioning unit unit. We just had one problem after another. Our electric bill is usually over $200 plus our solar bill which is 227$. He assured us that A minimum bill from the company roughly around 30 to 40 a month We should expect that we would probably be getting Back from the electric company. He has not delivered on He would do and he repeatedly told us over and over just excuses stay away from this company I will speak About this to anyone interested. The best part is he came here with This whole spiritual kind of vibe so we thought that he was And livid by all those practices and clearly he does not practice what he preaches We would never have a bail and if we did, it would be about 40 bucks. He said all these And now suddenly he didn’t give us a system. That was big enough. Installed and they had come out numerous times to fix things When he sent out one of his specialists, the guy was standing on top of my roof and said Really should’ve been put over here on the roof. He clearly was not trained to do this job he was And we were just basically a casualty of his ignorance avoid Emerald city at all cost$. I just read Anthony’s response and let me add if we’re going to go there. He was also drinking tequila with us and he even went as far as to eat one of my marijuana edibles awes really lay the cards on the table. Also, my wife is sitting here shaking her head next to me because our electric bill is over $350 in addition to the 280 and. we pay for our system. he offered to move the panels and that is what my wife is agreeing with he also had some kind of shady dealings where he gave us certain tax breaks which probably he was trying to just appease us. There was a time when I called him and lawsuit because everything he has done is unjust and he lied to me and my wife again I will happily discuss this with business with him let me also add that when he says he did something with food or restaurants on the East Coast. This was the beginning of his Solar venture as a new owner of us numerous times. I will happily speak with him on the phone to discuss this rationally going to ever pick up my phone call again. Once again, please tell the truth Anthony you did not say that you were drinking tequila with me and my wife. That’s why we like and once again when you were discussing your history of the Grateful Dead, you happily ate one of my marijuana edibles

Anthony was great! Very knowledgeable. I had several companies come out and give me a proposal for a system. After gathering all of them and comparing, I called the power company for further research. The system that Emerald Sun proposed was the exact estimate that the power company suggested I get according to my power usage. Some companies recommended systems that were under powered and others tried to up-sale overpowered systems but Emerald was right on point. I have had my system for 6 months now and my electric bill has been virtually eliminated. Usually $20-$30 per month down from $200. Great investment!

I am beyond furious. I am a new home owner, and solar came with my house which is why i chose this home. I have been trying to get in contact with this company for a month now since closing so I could transfer ownership. Texting and calling, and Actually, seeing that my texts were being left on read And still not being answered till yesterday when i finally got a response. Then I find out that it’s literally just a link that took 30 seconds to complete. On top of this, I was never told about the 199 dollar transfer Until yesterday either. But the part that Infuriates me more than anything, Is the fact That I now have a very large electric bill for this month that I would’ve never had if i would’ve been sent the link in the first place. I will change this review, when my electric bill for this month is made right.
