Here is my lawn and here is my review to the company on what they did I started service with Luv-A-Lawn in January of this year, and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. I understand that in Florida, lawns—especially zoysia—take time to come out of dormancy. However, here we are in May, and large portions of my lawn are still patchy, brown, and in many areas completely dead. But my neighbors yard who has zoysia grass is beautiful now and out of dormancy. I initially raised my concerns with the technician who applied fertilizer (a Spanish gentleman whose name I unfortunately do not recall). He was polite and had good customer service, but the guidance he provided was concerning. He acknowledged the lawn looked bad and gave me leftover fertilizer from his truck instructing me to apply it weekly. That advice did not seem right, so I researched it myself and found that fertilizing should typically be done every 4–6 weeks—not weekly—which could actually damage the lawn. When I contacted the office, I spoke with Kenny, who was professional and helpful. After reviewing the situation, he confirmed that I should not have been given fertilizer or instructed to apply it weekly, as it could have made things worse. This raised serious concerns about the company’s internal communication and consistency. Kenny came out and looked at my lawn and stated someone will come out on Monday to put down some granular fertilizer. Kenny scheduled a follow-up service for the following Monday—but no one showed up. I called again and was told someone would come Wednesday or Thursday. Again, no one showed up, and no communication was provided. From there, the experience only declined. I was told my case would be escalated to Barry, who never contacted me. Then it was escalated to Curtis, who also did not respond within the promised timeframe. After multiple follow-ups, Curtis finally reached out. While I appreciate that he eventually responded, by that point my confidence in the company was gone. At that stage, I requested a refund under the company’s 100% money-back guarantee. Initially, I was only offered a partial refund, but after explaining the total amount I paid, they agreed to refund the full $125. To be fair, not every interaction was negative—Kenny and the initial technician were courteous. However, the lack of communication, missed appointments, conflicting instructions, and overall poor follow-through have left my lawn in worse condition than when I started. As a result, I now have to repair or replace portions of my zoysia lawn at my own expense. Here is my front yard and the fertilizer they used on my lawn. Update: I initially removed my review hoping things would improve, but unfortunately the experience continued to decline. Curtis, the manager, scheduled a visit before 10:00 AM but arrived after 10:00 AM with no call or text saying he was running late. The issue was not even being a few minutes late — it was the lack of communication and professionalism. My wife was present during the original conversation and confirmed I clearly stated before 10:00 AM. I also remain very concerned about the handling of my lawn. One representative gave me fertilizer directly from the truck and instructed me to apply it weekly for four weeks. Another representative later admitted that guidance was incorrect. For clarity, I did NOT apply the fertilizer because it did not sound right to me. The company continues blaming the condition of my lawn on weather and dormancy earlier this year. I understand weather impacts lawns in Florida, but neighboring zoysia lawns around me recovered normally while mine significantly deteriorated during the period of service. I have formally documented my concerns and requested a reasonable resolution regarding the damage to my lawn. If this matter cannot be resolved reasonably, I am prepared to pursue the matter further through civil court. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Assamee is our tech and he does such an excellent job! He is such a personable young man, and pays attention to all details. He is pleasant, respectful of our property,and talks with us and tells us what needs to be done and how he's going to fix.(But we don't need anything fixed anymore! 😜) We GET SO MANY COMPLIMENTS ON OUR YARD, AND IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF ASSAMEES WORK! Thank you sir for all you do! We are definitely happy customers! Better keep him Luvalawn!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the pleasure of having Lamont from Luv-A-Lawn and Pest Control out today, and he was absolutely fantastic! He did an amazing job — thorough, professional, and clearly knows his stuff. He took the time to explain everything and made sure the service was done right. My lawn and property look great, and I finally feel like my pest issues are under control.
