Mosquito Shield of South Tampa

I wish I was given the option to give 0 stars, but unfortunately I can’t. EcoShield is the absolute WORST pest control company I’ve ever signed up with. We decided to sign up a few months ago from a door-to-door neighborhood sign up campaign. Our first treatment was OK. Our second treatment was when we realized that we were having more issues than we’ve ever had. We started seeing various cockroach species, millions of sugar ants, and earwigs throughout our home. I immediately called to inquire about an additional treatment before our next quarterly service. The technician arrived to our home, rang the door bell, and didn’t even wait a minute for us to answer the door before he got back in his truck and left. EcoShield tried to deny this complaint but we have a Ring doorbell that captured everything. Once again, I called back to schedule another urgent service appointment and requested a different technician. Another technician came out. He was inside for about 5 minutes or less. Didn’t speak much of the ants or roaches we were experiencing. To treat the sugar ants, he laid down RAT TRAPS instead. Absolutely diabolical service appointment. The videos and photos I’m attaching to this review were taken the same day as this review. I am absolutely appalled and CANCELLING my service ASAP. EcoShield really needs to hire someone who is knowledgeable and reliable instead of these mediocre techs who blindly treat ants with something that isn’t even made to treat ants. We decided to purchase our own means of pest management with ant specific treatment to hopefully prevent the ongoing issues we’ve had. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! Charging almost $200 quarterly for this type of joke of a pest control company. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM AND IF YOU DO, YOU’LL REGRET IT!

Lonnie took extra time to get those pesky spider webs that get up high under my pool screen! I appreciate the extra effort. He hit all of the areas and I’m impressed! Helps he was tall. I’m on the bimonthly pest program.

Jason is a very nice and pleasant person. I don’t blame him but he did bump one of my ceramic pieces I have outside. I can remake it so no worries.

Samantha has sprayed our home a number of times now. Ants seem to be attracted to our place, but Samantha always has the answer! She is warm and friendly to our family and always asked about additional issues we face. Grateful to have Ecoshield service our home! Grateful they have awesome technicians!

This was our first time using this Company today. Jacob was very thorough and did a great job today. Mentioned if we need anything, don’t hesitate to call.
