Very pleased with our solar purchase and installation through Optimus Energy. Customer service staff and installation staff were both helpful and informative. Since connection in August 2021 our bills have been entirely covered by the panels and I’ve only paid the Duke required connection fee. Highly recommend solar, and Optimus provided excellent service and support.

We diligently searched for solar providers for quite some time, settling on Optimus Solar due to their professionalism and fair pricing. We are thrilled with the look and performance of our 11.5kW system, offsetting almost all of our electricity bill! Great to work with a local company support Central Florida

I have kissed a lot of contractor frogs in my day, but Optimus Energy Solutions is a prince. I got several bids for my solar PE project. Optimus owner Ben and his entire staff were excellent communicators, not high pressure, and I got a good price on quality equipment. Their installers were skilled, personable and pleasant. They answered all my questions and more. My system went on line in early March. I've had minimum charge bills from FPL ($25 plus tax) for March, April and May with banked kwhs for the summer months in a 2700 sq foot house and only a tier 1 system. With solar tax credits, I calculated my return on investment at 10.73% annually, and that doesn't take into account FPL's rate hikes over the next 4 years or the gas savings from the used plug-in hybrid I got in April. I'm saving at least 2 tanks of gas a month thanks to free solar kwhs. For me, that's an extra $900 to a grand annually in my pocket. Solar was a sound conservative investment for me compared to a cd or bonds and a step towards making our country more energy-secure. And Optimus was a great choice for making it happen with sterling customer service and support. The attached photo is my projected FPL bill for June through July 2025. Even if tax credits are withdrawn, solar makes sense!

Optimus gave me great equipment, pricing, installation services and follow up support. I'm very happy with my system and thankful I found a good company to work with. I'm loving my minimum FPL bills!

My experience with Optimus Energy was extremely disappointing. While the initial sales interaction was positive, the installation process was plagued with issues. They installed my system 3 years ago (an installation that had issues and delays as well) and now expanded my system with 20 additional panels. The process seemed to have one error after another, including incorrect panels, an incorrect breaker, system integration problems, a persistent meter error, and a new site ID that erased my historical data. Communication was a major challenge throughout the project. I left multiple voicemails and emails over several weeks without a response, and I often had to call from different phone numbers just to get Ben to answer. Despite promises to prioritize my case, the issues remained unresolved for weeks. This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and stressful. At the time of writing this review I still do not have a resolution for all the open items. While some progress was eventually made, the overall experience was unprofessional and left me feeling misled. I would NOT recommend Optimus Energy based on my experience.
