I got quotes from three local companies. Sales guy from Polk County Window and Door brought a sample window and showed me the features (Simonton). Price was reasonable compared to the other two companies, plus I had the specifications which only one other of the three provided. They said it would be about 4 months lead time, which it was, but no more. They kept me informed of when they would be ready to install, and double confirmed the date with me. Crew showed up on time and were very efficient and hardworking. Crew leader, Terrance, kept up a very fast pace but with conscientiousness and plenty of levity! Everyone worked hard and had a great attitude. They even alerted me to the tiniest issue. These windows seem to be keeping out the afternoon sun, even without any blinds or curtains. I would absolutely recommend them and will use them again if/when I get another house needing windows! BTW, this house was built in 1890 and it was neglected or occupied by squatters for a long time! So all work done here requires problem solvers with a good attitude! Very happy with Polk County Windows and Doors!

Hurricane Milton resulted in our manufactured home needing a re-leveling. This caused our door not closing and three windows not sliding on their tracks. Polk County Window and Door inspected the issues and provided a quote to replace the door and window. The estimator (owner) measured in detail and told us that in a couple of days another employee would be out to confirm the measurements. The measurements of both were the exact same and the units were ordered. The estimated wait time was 6 months which at the time seemed long. The end result was well worth the wait. The team of 3 young men installed the door and windows the other day and all fit like a glove. The install was seamless and the team worked well together and had fun with each other and very good attitudes. We would not hesitate to recommend Polk County Window and Door. Excellent family owned company.

Polk County Window and Door did an excellent job installing our back exterior door and the laundry room door to the garage. The team was professional, punctual when they did have an installation date after waiting a while, and the quality of the doors and installation is top notch! The doors look and functions perfectly. They even squeezed me in quicker than expected for the back door, which we really appreciated! We did have to wait another month for the laundry room door, but it was worth it. Overall, we are very happy with the work and would recommend them! I had a minor issue with the lock on the garage/laundry room door. They sent a guy out to fix it in a timely manner! Outstanding customer service and caring company!
