The Company installed a 12 Foot wide by 10 foot high roller shade on the sliding door in our family room to shield it from the intense sun rays when the sun was setting in the west. It’s also good for privacy. After I reached out to them, Steven and Adam came by the house and showed their samples and explained the different choices available in shade darkness and fabric types. They were very informative and professional in helping us make the right choice. The shade was relatively large so I decided on a motorized shade It required AC power because battery power was not going to be strong enough. The remote control has been working very well and the motor to raise and lower the shade is super quiet. It has the capability to program a favorite location which we set at about midway up. The installation went smoothly and we are very pleased with it. While it was relatively expensive, it is a high quality shade and in my judgement, worth the price. I have had the shade over a month and have been happy with it and recommend Sunshades Awning Company The only (minor) con I had is that they left me with the boxes which I had to cut up and toss in my recycling bin.

Sunshades Awning Company has been terrific to work with. Requested a home appointment-visit was within 3 days. Price was very good and in appointment to install was completed within 3 weeks (had to order). The installation with Rob was quick and very efficient; Rob took the time to explain the operations and went over the warranty information. From the beginning of the process until the completion-everything was great. Aaron (the owner) and his team were terrific. I would definitely recommend the company. (Quality of product, price and the professionalism of his entire team) PS. We have had 2 other neighbors who have also bought from sunshades, another one beginning the process of purchasing from them also.

The shades are beautiful but it can take weeks to have them schedule a service tech to come out and look at broken shades, even when following up regularly. Not ideal when you have 16 individual shades on property to maintain. Other companies won't generally send service techs unless its for their own shades due to each shade having different branded parts and motors that are not the same across companies. So whoever you call to install is generally who you are left to rely on for service.

Sunshades installed a retractable screen on my garage. They screen is a great quality and a wonderful addition to our home. It's very practical in Florida and adds needed ventilation for our garage. The company was very efficient and professional from start to finish. I was kept informed from ordering to the install. The installers were courteous and on time. They have a good warranty which gives us peace of mind. This company was highly recommended to me by my neighbors in my community. I am glad I decided to go with Sunshades. I'd gladly recommend them to anyone who asks!

A friend recommend Sunshades to us as we were considering adding a retractable screen enclosure system to our back porch. We love outdoor dining but with all the mosquitoes at dusk in FL we could not sit outside. We had Aaron come out and give us an estimate - within a couple of weeks it was installed and we absolutely love it. It is super easy to use - we can open or close it in a few seconds and we eat outside now all the time. We highly recommend them if you are considering doing this to your home - one of the best home improvements we have ever invested in.
