The goal was simple: something quiet, reliable, and powerful enough to run the house as if I were still on the grid. No compromises like shutting off the AC. I also wanted the ability to run it continuously for extended periods (aside from basic maintenance like checking oil). I ended up with a Briggs 26kW natural gas unit, and it’s been exactly what I was looking for. Recently, the power went out and the system automatically transferred from grid to generator in about 10 seconds. When power was restored, it seamlessly switched back and shut itself off. The transition was smooth enough that you’d barely notice it happened. The power output feels identical to grid power—no flickering lights, no strain on devices, nothing acting differently. Wheeler handled everything end-to-end: initial inspection, permits, installation, and setup. The entire process was smooth and efficient. Highly satisfied with both the product and the service.

From the beginning, Charles worked with me to win my business over a number of other bids, and guide me through the HOA/permitting process with minimal (mostly no) effort on my end. When Russell and his crew arrived to install they gave truly one of the best customer experiences I've had. I couldn’t afford a whole home Generac generator. I was able to get exactly what I needed at a price I was comfortable with. The vendors that support Wheeler's are top notch. When the electrician came he took his time and explained everything I need to do to make sure I am comfortable using the generator setup and how to flip breakers in the panel.. The gas people delivered my tank and filled it up without needing to schedule a time with me. Everything is ready for Hurricane Season! I would highly recommended this company!
