The first 9 - 10 years were good so 2 stars. After that it has been difficult. I had Dixie Pools install our pool shortly after construction of the house was completed, before any neighbors were built besides us. This gave easy access to ensure pool was built correctly. The first 9 years the pool was great. Then it started to settle and this caused stress on pool tile water line, I contacted Dixie Pools regarding the issue and the first time they were quick to respond and repaired the tile, re-caulked and grouted the waterline area of the pool, they also replaced the Pool LED light as the original one had failed. Every 2 years now the cracks in the waterline reappear. I contacted a structural engineer and they said that due to there being multiple pours to build up the side when it was installed that the bound between materials is not lasting and either the pool should be replaced or that continuous repair by re-caulking and re-grouting will be needed. Dixie agreed at the time to continuously re-caulk and re-grout as need, rather the replace the pool under the life time pool shell warranty that they provided at time of build. They said it was their choice as to resolve. The last time, it took possible law suit to get them to do the work. This time, it has been over 3 months and they still have not completed the re-caulking or re-grouting. They have said a van is in the shop for repair, however they have also said it is a simple repair and not special equipment is needed, so I offered to pick up the crew and bring them over to repair if they do not want to drive their own cars. This is now impacting my ability to sell the house, so I may have to resort to finding another pool company to complete the work, however Dixie says if other work on the pool then they will not be able to warranty the work, so my life time warranty will be null and void. I would recommend careful consideration and reading reviews before having a pool built by Dixie Pools.

The entire experience working with Dixie has been horrible. The pool construction quality was terrible and it isn't finished after 5 years. They blame the subcontractors instead of taking responsibility for the issues. Almost every step of the project hasld to be redone, parts multiple times. The pool shell was not constructed with the required thickness, was shot in the rain, and the parts that were collapsing were "fixed" using regular concrete instead of being shot properly. The original site manager was signing off work without even coming to the house, so I would get bills for work that wasn't even installed yet. The new manager wasn't any more competent. This company has gone downhill since Marty bought it and my pool plaster issues remain unaddressed.

Building a pool is a big undertaking, but the process with Dixie Pools was 95% smooth. They were generally fast, responsive, and great communicators. We did have a pump problem that took them a while to fix (I think they had gotten super busy), but no issues since then. Brenden helped us design a pool that was perfect for our backyard. We love it!

We contracted with Dixie to perform a difficult job that many didn't want. While there were certainly ups and downs in the process, we are very happy with the results. 18 months so far with no problems. We love our pool.

This company is horrible stay away!! I am warning you… my neighbors has been trying to get their pool completed for approximately 3 months… no one has come back in the Providence community in Davenport to clean up or complete the work. They are rude, nasty and disrespectful to my neighbors. They distorted my lawn in the process( see photos) they leave dirty masks and trucks were placed on the grass instead of the street when asked not to do so… they mimicry my neighbors and messed up their sidewalk and to date the work Is not completed. Very unprofessional. I will not call them for my pool installation., Don’t do it!!
