Generator Maintenance of Florida LLC

This is our first year of a maintenance contract with Generator Maintenance of Florida. We are so impressed with the quality of customer and maintenance service. It is so rare to find a company that actually does what they claim to do. They also are very proactive and call you before they arrive for service. If you are looking for top notch customer service, this is your company!! Chris is the absolute best and knows how to treat customers to keep them coming back.

Surprisingly I had a difficult time finding someone that would contact me back for a quote on a generator. Fortunately, I found Generator Maintenance of Florida in Ormond Beach. I called and the first day they scheduled a quote for a new unit and a week later we had it set up for the install. Denise was great and Chris the tech came out the exact time he was supposed to and had the job complete before I knew it. The most important part of the generator is the service afterwards and first impressions are they show up when they are supposed to and complete the job as promised. Great company and people to deal with!!

Last spring our home experienced a power surge due to a careless Duke Energy contractor which destroyed my generator and my TV surge protector. Duke accepted no responsibility! I called a couple of generator repair company's to check out the damage to the generator. Several companies responded, spent 5 minuets looking at the generator and gave me estimates to replace the generator! The only company that actually checked out the generator was Generator GENERAC SALES AND SERVICE of Florida. The tech's name was Chris and he tested every part of my system to eliminate every possible reason that the generator would not function. He had almost every spare part for my model on his truck and he exchanged them with new parts to eliminate all possibilities , very through diagnosis!! After 45 minuets he said that the generator was damaged and needed to be replaced. He gave me an estimate, which was lower than the other estimates. Since we have had a generator for years we decided to purchase a new generator from them. Chris did not charge for the diagnosis time! The new generator was installed a week or two later with no snags. This was one of the best service experiences I have ever had! This company is thorough, professional and very easy to work with! It was a blessing to meet them!

All I can say is what a professional local business. It was truly a pleasure dealing with this family run business. Had been using another company and finally had enough of their staff with missed appointments without a phone call and attitude in general as if they were doing me a favor. I said to myself" All I want, is to find a generator service company that shows up when they say they will and fixes my problem." These folks are exactly what we need more of. Honest ,charging fair prices, communication as to when they will be there and a service contract that's not smoke and mirrors. So impressed that as crazy as it may sound I wish I got to deal with them more often. What a breath of fresh air!!!
