Generator Supercenter of Orlando

review, BBB & Costco Update 6/6/2026: After weeks of Costco having to intercede to get our job completed, we finally heard from a supervisor. He sent his men back out and they still only did part of the repairs and necessary items for inspection. We ended up having to pay to have more dirt brought out to fill in their tracks and take care of the remaining dirt they left from putting in the tank. Each time, they said they would be back, but never returned. As always, Costco was a champ at following up on the situation with us. We ended up moving the servicing and our warranty to a retailer closer to us who not only worked to get everything set up, but helped us get hooked up with wireless monitoring which cut out the $42 a month Generator Supercenter of Orlando insisted we have a monitor for. When we switched, they wasted no time sending someone out to take off the module without even checking to see if we would be home. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We have been in contact with Costco.com Kiosk and as yet have received no response with giving them additional info and pictures. We started the project 2025 Sept 30, (installation started 2026 March 03) as to date we still do not have a system on line (they failed Marion county, FL inspection, both LP gas and electric), they destroyed my front, side and backyard & destroyed my neighbors side and backyard. EXTREME AVOIDANCE with call backs when they say they will, with no communication (text, e-mail or calls). Dirt not taken on day of installation because they didn't have enough bags, but said they would come back. We were told we would get a call back to discuss the inspection report after they looked at it; instead they sent an automated email the morning of April 3rd telling us their field worker was in route and if we were unable to keep this work order to call a phone number as soon as possible. We could have been informed the evening before as they did need inside access. Again they only brought one bag, which wasn't enough and still did not complete the issues from the inspection. They left without saying a word and we have not heard anything today. Because of this, we cannot use our stove/oven and our dryer. The generator is offline. No manager or supervisor has ever called back on our calls...period. They have someone who really can't answer our questions call occasionally. We have never dealt with a company that is supposed to be reputable that behaves this way before. They asked to be paid in full prior to install and we did. All we want is communication and the project completed professionally and to the standards of the industry. They have all of our money and we have an inoperable system.

Barry came out and measured the house for a new generator installed. He spent a lot of time explaining all of the mechanics of a generator and what's important to look for and ways to save money when purchasing one. I am not sure if I'll invest in one although I know I should but if I do I will go with Barry at Generator Supercenter.

I contacted this vendor through Costco. We scheduled an appointment and an independent representative, Barry Silver, came to my house. Barry did a great job educating me on a field I'm totally ignorant about. He took the time to explain the why and the how and answered all my questions. Thank you!

Barry was great! He explained everything to us and answered questions we didn't even know we should have. We really appreciated his honesty and he was up front with us about throughout the entire visit.

We contacted Generator Supercenter, scheduled the appointment and welcomed them to our house. A pleasent and knowledgeable manager came by and answered all of our (many, many) questions. We progressed to a quote and are very happy with our agreement and the people behind it. We’re scheduled to have delivery and install in the next few months. The manager communicates really well and is coming by this week to take measurements for the HOA survey approval. I’m sure everything will flow nicely and we’ll have our dreamed of generator very soon! Thank you, Robin Kilgore! We’re happy to be in business with you and Generator Supercenter.
