    5/26/26 update. Upgraded my initial 1 star to 3 stars. Max contacted me to say that he wants to make things right. They eventually found the leak and repaired it for a total of $3,502.40. The system is cooling now. I'm scheduled to have the system checked in 3 months. I hope to be able to add another star or 2 at that time. So far everything has been terrible, one of my A/C units stopped cooling so I called Protech. A tech came to my house on Thursday 4/30, he told me there was no refrigerant in the system and I had a leak and that they had to find where the leak was so they could fix it. It cost $660 to check for the leak and I have to pay them $330 before they can schedule it because the tech at my house doesn't have what he needs to test for the leak. So I paid $330 and he said the earliest that someone can come to test for the leak is the next day, but the "good news" was that if I go with Protech to do the repair the money that I paid to find the leak will be applied to the repair. The next day another tech came to my house to find the leak and after 10 minutes he told me that he could not find any leaks. I asked if I don't have a leak then why is there no refrigerant to which he did not have a good answer. But he did tell me that if I put refrigerant in the system that the problem will be solved. It will cost around $910.00 to put refrigerant in my system. I thought that was high but told him to proceed because I wanted my A/C to start working but I told him not to forget to deduct the $330 that I already paid to find the leak that apparently doesn't exist. He told me that he knows nothing about that and I have to call the office to get a refund back to my credit card. I called the office on Friday 5/1 to get my refund and they assured me that they would refund my credit card $330 and allow 2-3 days for it to appear. That was 7 days ago still no refund and the story actually gets worse! It has been a week since they "fixed" my system and it has stopped working again. I called to have another tech come to my house to re-fix the "fix" that didn't work. I foolishly had paid extra to join their "Home Comfort " club where you get "priority" treatment but the person on the call said the earliest someone can come is this evening and he can't guarantee that I won't be charged for the service call. I will update this review after they finally fix my unit and I get my $330 refund

    We’ve been using Pro Tech for years. They always show up timely and do great work, respectful and knowledgeable technicians, good customer service. Recently RJ and Michael came out and did a great job getting me set up for a new AC unit as our old one was discovered needed some major repairs. Elliot, the sales rep, was able to get the price down to a number I could afford and was very helpful. RJ did a good job explaining the ins and outs of the new system installation and what to expect. Highly recommended company!

    I had a very disappointing experience with Pro-Tech Air Conditioning and Plumbing Service. I called on Tuesday and spoke with Mona to schedule a first-time service appointment for the following day between 8am–12pm. The morning of the appointment, I called several times to confirm. Three different people hung up on me before I was finally able to speak with someone who informed me that there was no appointment scheduled and that there was no employee named Mona. Because I work for a medical office, all of our calls are recorded. I was able to pull the full 8-minute conversation with Mona, including Pro-Tech’s on-hold announcements, confirming that I had called the correct company and that the appointment had in fact been scheduled. After being told there was no appointment, I contacted AC Cowboys instead. They had a technician at our office within 1.5 hours and quickly repaired our AC with a new motor. Ironically, while the AC Cowboys technician was finishing the repair, a Pro-Tech technician arrived over 2.5 hours late for the original appointment window. We explained that due to the confusion, poor communication, and lack of professionalism, his services were no longer needed. Very frustrating experience, especially for a busy medical office that depends on reliable AC service.

    Nicholas did an outstanding job with the all-point inspection on my AC system. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. I really appreciated how detail-oriented he was and that he didn’t rush through anything. He made sure my system was running efficiently and gave me peace of mind. Highly recommend Nicholas if you’re looking for someone honest and professional!

    Our first contacts were Willy Ventura (diagnostic tech) and Shane Eliot (sales) both very professional and knowledgeable. They both explained the pros & cons of our system. They both were very patient and gave enough information to make our decision. Shane followed up well and answered the many questions I asked. The installation team of Carlos Garcia Vilaboy & Travis Barnes-Mack did an awesome job in dismantling our old HVAC system and installing the new system. They work very well together. They insured that system was installed to specifications, all while being very professional and courteous. I would definitely like this duo to work on our HVAC system in the future. Luis Noa provided excellent followup service. He was punctual, professional, patient and friendly. He explained how our new variable speed system works in as much detail as we wanted. The variable speed system is a new experience to us. He was very helpful.
