We had a great experience with Sunrun. JD, our agent, was fantastic, explained everything in detail, and continually followed up with us throughout our installation and start of service. He even came personally the day they installed the panels! Also have to note that Sunrun has great customer service and problem solving structure. We were assigned a case manager to navigate with the electric company side of things, which was involved. Sunrun even sent us a $200 check to make up for how long it took to satisfy the electric company... which was not even Sunrun's fault. Overall great experience. Solar working perfectly. No electric bill after one month. Highly Recommend!

Sunrun did an outstanding job installing our solar and whole-home battery backup system. The team was professional, the installation was smooth, and we now have peace of mind knowing our home stays powered during outages. The battery backup seamlessly keeps our essential appliances running, and we're already seeing the benefits of greater energy independence. Highly recommend!

Yazdi Mehta was helpful. He explained the best option on getting solar which was to lease rather than own. He explained the difference and was very upfront. I respectfully acknowledge his truthfulness and signed. The process was quick with Sunrun. The workers were very respectful when installing my panels on the roof. They assisted with downloading the Tesla app and set up an account for my Power-bank. Thanks again Yazdi Mehta you did an excellent job.

Bought a home with 2 existing Sunrun systems. For the first year, things operated smoothly. All of a sudden in August of 2025, one system began to stop producing energy. Took until December of 2025 for a service tech to come out and replace what he claimed was a bad inverter. Good news is, the system seems to be back up and running, but unfortunately during the repair the service tech drilled a hole through our home and into our master bath shower wall. The communication, or lack thereof, from Sunrun on getting a technician back out is abysmal. Every time I talk to a customer service representative, they ensure me someone will contact me within 24 hours as this is a “high priority” but no one contacts me. Pretty brutal service.

We agreed to install solar panels through the Sunrun program promoted at Costco after being told that our electric bill would essentially be eliminated and replaced with a payment of about $144 per month. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience. We are now paying both the Sunrun monthly payment and a separate FPL electric bill, which in many months results in higher total costs than before installing solar. We attempted for many months to resolve the issue directly with Sunrun without success. The company has since suggested purchasing an additional battery system costing over $10,000 as a potential solution, which was never mentioned during the original sales process. Because of these concerns, the matter has been escalated to the Florida Attorney General’s Office, and we have also been contacted by an attorney from the Federal Trade Commission reviewing the case. I am sharing this experience so other consumers can carefully review all details before signing a long-term solar agreement.
